I'm not sure when the writing bug bit me. Considering I hate bugs, it's surprising I didn't grab the nearest can of insecticide. Because of that rare occasion, that little bug caused a rash--a writing rash, to be specific, which formed in the shape of a pencil, then a--...I'll save you the vulgar details. Long story short: I didn't squash the bug. Because of that, I'm here to #create. And I'm here to help.
At 20 years old, I'm not going to act like I hold the key to #writing wisdom* (and if I did, do you really think I'd give it away? That sucker would sell for at least $10 on eBay). But, I am going to act like I've learned some things. Writing things. Like what I gained from writing a 49,000-word novel in middle school. How I've transformed terrifying--and heartbreaking--situations into compelling prose. And how I've kept writing despite rejections and self-doubt.
